QA Automation Director at BairesDev
Join our team as a QA Automation Director, where you'll lead and oversee our entire QA automation strategy and operations. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by implementing robust automation frameworks and practices. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve testing processes, and enhance overall product quality.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute the overall QA automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and tools to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving corrective actions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in QA automation and incorporate best practices into the team?s workflow.
- Manage budget, resources, and vendor relationships related to QA automation tools and services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining a strong focus on security and reliability.
Here?s what we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience with QA Automation.
- Strong background in software architecture design.
- Strong understanding of system security.
- In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.
- Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments
- Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each.
- Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced level of English.
