Junior Data Engineer at BairesDev

As a Junior Data Engineer, apply your emerging skills in data processing and ETL tools to contribute to data integration and warehousing projects. This role involves developing and maintaining ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and gaining practical experience in data engineering.

What you will do:


- Develop and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures, assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Build and optimize ETL processes and data sets, using SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.


Here?s what we are looking for:

- 1+ year of experience with ETL.
- Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to solve problems effectively and learn new technologies quickly.
- Good level of English.
