Android Architect at BairesDev

As an Android Architect, shape the software architecture and strategic direction of our Android applications, leveraging your deep expertise in Android development, system design, and emerging mobile technologies. Your role focuses on designing scalable architectures, guiding technical strategies, and leading development teams to build robust, efficient Android solutions that align with our long-term business and technological goals.

What you will do

- Architect comprehensive Android application solutions, incorporating best practices in scalability, performance, and security.
- Lead the assessment and adoption of advanced Android frameworks and tools to enhance development capabilities.
- Define coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for Android development across the organization.
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership on complex Android projects, addressing challenging technical issues.
- Mentor and guide development teams in advanced Android techniques and methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior management to align Android development strategies with broader business objectives and technology trends.

What we are looking for

- 8+ years of experience with Android development.
- Strong background in software architecture design.
- Strong understanding of system security.
- In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.
- Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments
- Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.
- Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each.
- Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced level of English.
